Each student who graduates as an Honors Scholar is required to complete 28 credit hours of Honors Program course work (HON), including a senior thesis project, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Honors Scholars wear a maroon mortarboard (cap) during commencement, which is provided directly to the student by the Honors Program by request.
